Our theme is quite consistently about people and the creative things God has given them to do with their hands. Sometimes these scenes are community related, or simply a solo laborer in his/her field. Once in a while, a scene will focus on a type of agriculture, harvest or fruit-of-our-labor.
Of the many places we have lived and worked in this world, there was often a memorable beauty, order or harmony to the concerted effort of a group or even one individual going about a routine task. Other scenes became riveted into our memories because the particular task so graphically displayed the darkness of poverty and oppression resting on precious people. There are also unexpected scenes of hope and even joy, in the very midst of some of these adverse environments.
